Crack Cake

Instructions

 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan thoroughly with baking spray.

  2. Make the batter:
    In a mixing bowl, beat together all the cake ingredients until fully combined and smooth.

  3. Bake:
    Pour batter into prepared bundt pan.
    Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean and edges pull from the pan.

  4. Make the glaze:
    In a small saucepan, heat butterwine, and sugar over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves, then remove from heat.

  5. Glaze the cake:
    While cake is still in the pan, poke holes all over the bottom using a skewer or toothpick.
    Slowly pour glaze over the cake. Let it absorb for 15–20 minutes.

  6. Release and serve:
    Loosen the cake sides with a spatula, then invert onto a serving plate.
    Slice and enjoy!
