High-temperature emptying program: Pour 1 liter of white vinegar into the drum and perform an emptying program at 90°C to disinfect the tank and eliminate bacteria. It is recommended to do this twice a year.
Cleaning the drum: To remove bad odors, clean the inside of the drum, the gasket and the porthole with a cloth soaked in white vinegar. White vinegar also gives your washing machine freshness again.
Drum drying: Be sure to leave the door open after each wash cycle so that the drum can dry properly.
How do you get rid of bad odors in the washing machine?
And of course, there is nothing more annoying than smelling the unpleasant,
musty smell on the laundry right after washing. As mentioned earlier, mold can easily form in your
washing machine, causing a strong odor that
can quickly be harmful to allergy sufferers. How do you get rid of it? First of all, it is important to
clean your washing machine from time to time with an effective descaling solution.
You can switch between chemical products and homemade remedies,
such as a mixture of baking soda and distilled white vinegar.
These natural ingredients are great for descaling and
disinfecting the device. Simply put this solution in the detergent drawer
and run an empty program at a temperature of 90 °C.
